Fatboy Slim leaves rehab and now faces battle to save marriage to Zoe Ball
Booze battling FATBOY SLIM leaves rehab today - only to face the challenge of saving his 10-year marriage to ZOE BALL.
I hear the DJ, real name NORMAN COOK, has some way to go to patch up the relationship despite his month-long treatment for alcohol addiction.
Former Radio 1 host Zoe, 38, will quiz him about his close friendship with blonde artist JULIE-ANNEGILBURT.
A source told me: "Things are still very tense between Zoe and Norman.
"Even though he has spent the entire month in rehab there are still other issues Norman needs to address with Zoe.
"The next few weeks are going to be crucial as they try to make their relationship work again."
Norman, who checks out of the Providence Project clinic in Bournemouth, Dorset, first met Julie-Anne, 36, nine years ago.
That was when she painted a bare-chested portrait of him for his album You've Come A Long Way Baby.
Julie-Anne, who has a gallery close to his £2million seaside home in Brighton, told The People last month she and Norman keep in touch regularly.
She said: "I communicate by text a lot with him, like all my friends and clients. We share a quirky sense of humour."
Norman has now pulled out of headlining next week's Snowbombing music festival in Austria to focus on his marriage. My source said: "He wants to show where his priorities lie.
"Everyone hopes he and Zoe can get through their problems." The pair wed in 1999 and have a son, Woody, eight.
They previously survived Zoe's 2003 admission of a two-month affair with DJ DAN PEPPE, 37.
