Gothic clothes - jackets tops shirts

Well, let’s continue to find out more about gothic clothes.

Jackets, tops.

If top looks like “historical” it usually goes with the skirt of the same style, in same color scheme and also same materials used (velvet, silk, brocade). Usually sleeves and neckline are decorated with lace. Tops can be not only velvet, but latex and vinyl. Colors – black, purple. They can be decorated with chains, rings, buckles. Popular type of gothic clothes – blouse-grid, which usually both genders wear.

Shirts.

Shirts are usually made from velvet (mostly black color, but also can be purple or scarlet) or from cotton, silk (white or black) mostly with lace on sleeves, sometimes with jabot.

Well, enough for now again :)

Online Poker funny video

Oh, I love poker, and I know when to fold!

Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi Deluxe

One of the most expensive hotels in the world was opened in spring of 2005. 30 minutes of driving from Abu Dhabi and almost hour from Dubai. Incredibly beautiful hotel, looks like real palace surrounded by a beautifully landscaped park with several open lawns.
What’s in it?
24/7 room service. Stuff – more then 2600 people. Business center. Two spas fit for royalty featuring a luxury line of beauty products and treatments. 2 Fitness Centres.
A Selection of Food and Beverages outlets serving a variety of cuisine from across the globe created by world renowned chefs:
Mezzaluna – takes you to Italy.
Le Vendome Brasserie – where buffet cultures meet a la carte menus.
Las Brisas – dishes prepared at your table by your personal island chef.
The Havana Club – evocative of traditional gentleman's clubs from bygone eras. With a selection of the worlds finest cognacs, armagnacs and cigars, sure to impress the most discerning connoisseurs.
A shopping arcade with a vast range of some of world's most exclusive brand names, including the finest jewelers, perfumeries, chocolates and fashion shops for the discerning shopper.

I wasn’t exactly at that hotel. One of my friends was and still shocked by quality. Still if you will decide to go there it will cost you a pretty penny. But I bet it worth it!

Gothic clothes - corsets, dresses

Decided to write few words about gothic clothes. Oh, by the way, you may be interested in Girl's Boutique At Hottopic.com!

First of all gothic clothes, used by any goth mostly depends on his or her personal style. I will mention only wide-spread things.

Corsets – can be two types: “historical” which look like corsets of 19th, 18th century and they usually made from velvet, brocade and can be different colors; “fetish” which are made from modern materials like latex, vinyl and leather, mostly black.

Dresses, skirts.
Sometimes made like “historical” dresses – with lacy or color inset in bodice, sometimes with double skirts. Mostly created from velvet, silk, brocade, chiffon, guipure, colors can be different but mostly they are black, vinous, purple. Sometimes dressed are made from latex, vinyl and can be long and short, mostly tight, sometimes bottom of skirt or dress can be bordered with fake-fur or plumage, mostly black color. Men also can wear such skirts...

Enough for now ;)

Bangkok is a precious castle on a “River of Kings”. Your meeting with Thailand starts here. The capital of Thailand is situated at the banks of river Chao Praya, mighty “River of Kings”. At the first sight it looks like usual megapolis, but if you will look better you’ll see that it’s a magic east city, hidden between skyscrapers. The most snazzy thing, which attracts people is night life in Bangkok. Restaurants with traditional thai meal and shows with national dancing, huge variety of nightspots can surprise any tourist.

Rent a car in Europe.

Traveling by car is the best way to make acquaintance with a country and to go to the places, which can not be seen from a bus or train window. For doing this it is not necessary to think about how to transport your car through the borders and all that paper stuff. Much easier to rent a car. For example in Europe.

So here are some rules of renting a car in Europe.

  1. Driver age – 21 and older.
  2. Minimum lease of the car is 3 days.
  3. Petrol tank must be full when you return the car.
  4. Insurance is included in a lease cost.
  5. Booking is free – you pay only for lease time.

Also there are few recommendations for tourists BEFORE they will rent a car.

First of all look at the car, and if you will find any breakage, immediately inform car lease agent. Check presence of additional outfit (if you ordered it). Find out what fuel type used in the car. Make sure you have phone number of help-desk of a company where you rent a car. Ask about specifics of driving in this country.

Good luck in traveling!

10 Interesting Facts – How to Survive on Cyprus.

  1. You have to pay for some services.

In some hotels some services are payable. Hotels provide wide array of services and for some of them they take additional money (if these services are not included in standard room service).

  1. Call guide.

All phone calls, made from your hotel room are payable.

  1. Pump for free.

Mostly all hotels offer gyms for free, the only condition - wear training shoes.

  1. Tennis. Pay at night.

Courts for tennis are free during the day. You have to pay for the electricity to play at night.

  1. Rest. Let someone take care of your kids!

You can hire nanny in any hotel at Cyprus.

  1. Take a soap or stay dirty.

If you are planning to stay in standard (or cheap) room, take a soap and shampoo with you, because in some hotels you might not find it in a room. Also some hotels do not provide to standard rooms towels for beach.

  1. Marked...

If you are going “all inclusive”, you might be asked to wear a bracelet or some other “special” thing, which will mean, that you will use “all inclusive” services. Only by showing this thing you will get them.

  1. Don’t be late!

Time of leaving a hotel is 12-00, so you have to pack your things before that time and be ready to leave your room at 11-45.

  1. English and German.

For the reason that on Cyprus mostly rest English and German tourists, most entertaining programs are in English and in German languages.

  1. House building.

There is never-ending building at Cyprus. So don’t be surprised if you will see a construction near the hotel. It’s normal. Too many tourists make Cyprus businessmen build more hotels.

Good luck in your vacation!

Trust your instincts.

Thoreau and Charles Peirce (1839-1914), two American philosophers, both argued for the importance of feeling and instinct. Thoreau claimed that our instincts are our surest guide to the truth. If we have the courage to free ourselves from the “laws of convention”, the ways of thinking and acting in society that people take for granted, we become candidates for intuiting “Higher Laws”. And these Higher Laws are known primarily through feeling. They are our point of contact with the divine. No one, Thoreau teaches, has ever followed her instincts until they lead her astray. Peirce made a similar case, which he referred to as his “Sentimentalism”. What is the most interesting about Peirce’s respect for feeling is that he was an expert in logic and science. In fact, Peirce argued that scientists are actually guided by their feelings as they form hypotheses. Reason itself, Peirce teaches, eventually realizes that feelings are important, both in science and in practical matters.
Strange thing – when you follow your instinct – everything goes very well. But when you stop and start analyzing and estimate possible results – 90% everything won’t go very well.
